Thomas Ray McLemore, Jr., 71, entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 20, 2018 at Agape House of Lexington. He was born on January 18, 1947 in Columbia to the late Thomas Ray and Margaret Rossi McLemore. Ray was employed by Badcock Center for more than 30 years. Ray loved fishing, gardening and playing pool. Ray is survived by his two sons, Thomas Ray (Stephanie) McLemore, III and Christopher McLemore; daughter, Christy (Mikey) Barton; sister, Debbie Galvin; and one niece, Marie Counts-Spell. Memorial service for Ray will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 25, 2018 in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. The family will receive friends one hour prior to time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ray’s memory can be made to SCDNR Fishing Rodeo for children 5-15 at http://dnr.sc.gov/aquaticed/rodeos/index.html. The family would like to thank the Agape House staff for the care of Ray during his last days. We will all miss you, Ray.
