Bruce Allen Reyher
March 23rd, 1940 - January 26th, 2022
Bruce Allen Reyher, of West Deptford, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. He was 81. Legacy Bruce was born and raised in Oakville, CT and graduated as Valedictorian from Watertown High School. He received a BS in electrical engineering from Renesslaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY and then earned his Masters degree in business administration from the University of Connecticut. After years of working hard at school, he had the opportunity to take a year off and sail the seas with his lifelong friend, Roland Pike. Together they were hired to sail a ship to Puerto Rico. Following his year long trip, Bruce started working for IBM and during this time he reconnected with his old classmate Nancy Pratt. They married shortly after and started their family while he was working for PSEG as an engineer. Later on Bruce moved with his family to Maple Shade and opened up his own business, "The Cheese Company" in the Moorestown Mall,. After selling the business he settled in West Deptford, NJ. Bruce loved sailing and keeping busy, during his career he somehow found time to practice accounting despite his other endeavors. Family Beloved husband of 49 years to Nancy (Pratt) Reyher; loving father of Edward Reyher and Gregory Reyher (Alisa); cherished grandfather of Renee, Lauren, Jeffrey, Cole and Tucker. Bruce also leaves behind dear family members in Canada. Farewell Tribute Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 10 to 11 AM in the Mantua United Methodist Church, 201 Mantua Boulevard., Mantua Township, NJ 08051. Funeral service will begin at 11 AM. Inurnment will follow at Locustwood Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.
