Alice G. Lancaster Elgin, SC Born in Philadelphia, PA on May 25, 1934, she was the daughter of George and E. Lindora Hendricks Grass. She passed away July 11, 2012. She is survived by her son, Wade Lancaster, Jr., daughters, Sandra J. Lancaster Dobbs and Laura (Talvin) Herbert, sisters, Dottie Boehringer of Tomball, TX, Mindy Grass of Mt. Laurel, NJ, and Sandra J. Mezzaroba of Prospect Pk, PA. She was a loving grandmommy to 7 grands and 2 great-grandchildren. An avid gardener, she had the ability to make anything grow and enjoyed blooming flowers and bird watching. She never failed to greet you with a ?good morning? and was appreciative for even the smallest kind gesture. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 14, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home on Leesburg Rd.
