Sophie Olender

Sophie Olender age 49 of Mount Pleasant S.C and formally of Southampton N.Y. passed away peacefully on June 20th after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her children and family. Sophie’s greatest pride and joy were her children Ayden & Olivia. The pride and love for her children is what gave her the determination and strength to continue the battle for as long as she did.. she was truly a warrior. Sophie’s second passion was her love of nature and flowers. Her love of flowers and their beauty blossomed to a life long career as a floral designer. Sophie also carried that love of beauty to her home were she created an enchanted garden near her porch where she often sat with her tea surrounded by the beauty and tranquility she created. Sophie is predeceased by her parents Jozef and Zofia Olender, brother Stanley Olender and 4 brothers and a sister in Poland. She is survived by a son Ayden Tarrent-Willis and a daughter Olivia McLysaght of Mount pleasant S.C. Brothers Tony Olender of Southampton N.Y, Henry Olender of Melbourne , Fla and Frank Olender of Mount pleasant ,S.C. Sister Manya Olender-Murphy of Mount Pleasant S.C. Nephews Adam Olender of Rural Retreat W.V, Michael Olender of Poughkeepsie N.Y , Anthony Olender of Southampton N.Y. , Harrison Murphy , Brandon Olender & Devon Olender of Mount pleasant S.C. Neices Joanne Ference of Highland lakes N.J. , Dana Olender ,of Southampton N.Y. Morgan Murphy of Hampton Bays, N.Y. Jacqueline Olender of Mount Pleasant, S.C , Charlotte Ford of NYC and Anna Murphy of Mount Pleasant S.C. Also, 10 great Neices and Nephews. A memorial and internment will be held in Southampton at a later date.
