Nancy Carol Tapp (Sickler) was born November 9, 1935. in Denver. She was the youngest of nine children born to Charles and Ida Tapp. She grew up in Denver and had many friends. Nancy married Bill Patrone in 1952 and had three children, Glenn, Nancy and Robert Dale. The marriage ended in divorce. She married Bob Garrison and to this union two children were born, Greg and Rea. This relationship also ended. She did the best she could as a single parent to raise five children while holding down a full time job. She met the love of her life; Art Sickler and they were married September 28, 1968. Art had four children from a previous marriage; Art, Steven, Annette and Julie. They lacked two days of being together forty six years. They were unseperable. They spent as much time together, as possible, fishing and hunting. Nancy passed peacefully from this life the morning of September 26, 2014. She had a “T” shirt that said “If I’d have known Grandkids where this much fun I would have had them first.” She worked at Gates Rubber Company for three yrs. And owned her pet grooming shop for many yrs but that came to an end after a back injury. She lived in her home on Depew for 40 yrs and loved spending a lot of time in the outdoors. She loved cooking for her family during the holidays and was a really great cook. She didn’t laugh at all of Art’s jokes, but loved how he made her smile. As sick as she was towards the end of her life she still smiled with dignity and grace. There was never a sale missed on QVC by Nancy. She loved to fish and probably released more 3 pound fish than most people have ever caught. She loved helping people in this life. She loved to sing and had a beautiful voice. She is loved by her family and will be missed forever and will never be forgotten. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and all her siblings except one; Joann Kerber, two beloved grandchildren; James Allan Patrone and Gary Krenzer Jr. daughter-in-law Jacki Patrone, numerous Aunts, Uncles and in-laws. Nancy is survived by; Husband Art Sickler, sister JoAnn, [Ben] Kerber, brother-in-law Merl [Josie] Sickler, children and step-children, Rev. Winn Allison, Officiating
