Anne Stanley Grosch

Anne Stanley Grosch Charlotte- Anne Thomas Stanley Grosch, 85, died Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House-Southminster. She was born October 19, 1929 in Suffolk, VA., daughter of the late James Henry Pettus Stanley and Edna Pruden Stanley. Mrs. Grosch was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, attended Richmond Professional Institute, now Virginia Commonwealth University, and graduated from Pan American Business School, all in Richmond, VA. Anne was an active member of Providence Baptist Church for 48 years to include the Agape Sunday School Class, Children"s Ministry, WMU, Round Table, and tutored children for over 20 years. A service in celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 16, 2015 at Providence Baptist Church with The Reverend Dr. R. Alton Cadenhead and The Reverend Dr. David Jordan, officiating. Inurnment will be private in the church columbarium. The family will receive friends following the memorial service in the Rotunda at the church. Anne is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, Bill Grosch; two children, Kirk Grosch and wife, Debbi and Kerry Winter and husband, Carlton, all of Charlotte; and three grandchildren, Stacy Grosch, Kathryn Anne Winter Berry, and Justin Winter.
