JANE R. AUMANN age 53 of Jefferson passed away September 18, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. She was born January 21, 1958 in Fort Atkinson, daughter of the late Joseph and Mavis (Hoffmann) Aumann. Jane graduated from Jefferson High School in 1976. She served in the United States Navy from 1976-1980. Jane was most recently employed at Rate Watch in Fort Atkinson. She was also formerly employed at Schweiger Industries for over 20 years, Monogue and Witt, and a part-time Bartender for Towne Inn, in Jefferson. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Women, and an avid Green Bay Packer and Wisconsin Badger fan. She was an avid bowler and the President of the Monday night Women's bowling league. Jane was a lover of animals and also leaves behind her cats Chassie, and Cody She will be deeply missed by her beloved, Randy Fischer of Jefferson. Her sisters; Ann Aumann of California, Lynn (Steve) Borgstrom of Dousman. Her special "Mom and Dad" Kenneth and Evelyn Fischer of Helenville Sisters and Brothers of the heart; Barbara (Ed) Kasper of Helenville, Peggy (Tim) Bare of Jefferson, JoAnn (Brad) Meinel of Jefferson, Jennifer (John) Kamenick of Jefferson, Allen (Darcey) Draeger of Helenville. Many other friends and relatives. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her nephew; Joey Cartwright. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday September 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson with the Rev. Thomas Coyle officiating, burial with Military Honors will follow at the Parish Cemetery. Visitation for Jane will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home in Jefferson, and then again at the church on Thursday morning from 10:00-10:45 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial to: Tomorrow's Hope, Salvation Army, and Jefferson Humane Society.
