Diana F. Cassone Neri, 65, of Orlando Ave, Albany, formerly of Amsterdam, passed away Thursday January 15, 2015 at St. Peter's Hospice Inn in Albany with her family at her side. Born in Amsterdam, NY on November 4, 1949 a daughter of Thomas and Josephine Cassone Neri. She was a lifelong area resident and was a graduate of the former Wilbur H. Lynch High School in Amsterdam. Diana was employed for over 35 years for the Department of Tax and Finance in Albany. She was of the Roman Catholic Faith. She is survived by her Brother, Bruno B.(Flora) Neri of Dover, Delaware. One Aunt, Bianca Doesburg. Nieces and nephews, Donna (Chuck) Krajewski, Philip (Sue) DelCostello, Mark, Scott and Jason Neri. Great nieces and nephews, Lindsay (Steve Teabout) Krajewski, Todd Krajewski, Sara DelCostello, Rene Pacillo, Roman, Vincent, Leah, Brandon and Louis Neri Great-great nephews, Vinny and Anthony Pacillo, Dillon Krajewski-Teabout. brother in law Carmen Del Costello. Diana was predeceased by her sister, Mary Jane Del Costello. Diana is also survived by her very special friends, Dick and Carmen Lawler who treated her like their own daughter and watched over her. The family would like to thank Dick and Carmen for their unending friendship and dedication to Diana. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday January 20, 2015 at 9:15A.M. at St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church in Amsterdam with Father Pascal"Pat" Iannotti as celebrant. Interment was made in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Amsterdam.
