Mr. Christopher P. Reid, 27, of Gloversville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 20, 2014. Christopher was born on November 23, 1987, at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville, New York. He was the son of Paul E. Reid and the late Susan C. (Rose) Reid. He attended Gloversville Schools and graduated from John Adams High School in Florida. He previously worked in construction for Budget Exteriors and at Pioneer Windows. Christopher loved spending time with his son, Owen; taking him camping, hiking, and boating. Owen was his world. Over the past summer, Christopher began riding motorcycles with his friends and quickly fell in love with the thrill of the ride. He and friends would ride for hours. He also enjoyed riding his snow mobile, four-wheeler, boating, and fishing. Christopher is survived by; his son, Owen Michael Reid; his girlfriend, Jessica Tambasco of Gloversville; his father, Paul E. Reid; two sisters Annissa C. Clute (Jim) of Gloversville and Meghan E. Allmon (Tim) of Lake Como, Florida; and one brother, Matthew J. Reid of Gloversville; four nieces and nephews, Collin and Devyn Clute, and Dominic and Alyssa Allmon. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by an older brother, Aaron E. Reid. The family will receive relatives and friends from 11 to 1 p.m. Saturday, December 27, at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, where a Celebration of Christopher's Life will follow at 1 p.m., with Pastor John Crabbe officiating. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Fonda.
