Roseann J Volonino “Ro,” “Nana,” 88 in St. Petersburg passed away July 27, 2024, in her home.
She was born July 12, 1936, in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Peter and Catherine Lomonica.

Roseann is survived by her three children Catherine (Jeff) English of St. Petersburg, Frank (Lindy) Volonino of Bradenton, Anthony Volonino Jr of Seminole, Three grandchildren, Kendal, Zoe, and Alex.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY she graduated with her degree as a dental hygienist. She moved with her family in 1965 to Florida as a homemaker and later in life a business manager of Dance World and Fred Astaire Dance Studio.
She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She was a huge Tampa Bay Rays fan and followed their seasons religiously. Roseann’s family was everything to her. She cherished her granddaughters by spending most of her time with them at their cheer, dance, and gymnastics. She loved to cook, loved music, watch baseball, and go out to dinner. She had a bright personality and lit up a room. Anytime you needed help, she was the first one there. She was the most selfless person and made everyone smile. She was a great listener without judgement. Roseann’s kind soul, smile and laughter will be remembered by all that were blessed to know her.
