Betty Clara Hagen was born in Rugby, N.D., June 30, 1934. She was the daughter of Paul and Katherine Bischoff. Her father was a farmer and she had 11 brothers and sisters.
Betty spent most of her adult life in N.E. Portland (Lloyd Center Area) working for Travel Lodge and Marriott Hotels while raising her two children Paul and Maria. Betty loved family and friends and always had a certain swagger about herself. When she retired she volunteered at Providence Hospital working with children. She loved going to the Beach and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed going out for meals and her favorite was deep-fried shrimp.
Betty will leave a legacy of wisdom and love for family and friends she touched along the way. She will be missed.
Betty moved to Heaven Jan. 8, 2023 she was 88 years old. She is reunited with many brothers, sisters and friends.
