Lee Kian Go passed away on July 18, 2022, in Reseda, California surrounded by his children, daughters-in-law and grandchildren.
He was born in 1933 in Surabaya, Indonesia to an affluent Chinese family and attended Dutch school with his siblings. He married his love, Helen and had two children. He immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 40 to pursue his dream as an artist. His incredible talent propelled him to success where he worked in animation studios until his retirement from Universal MCA. His work can be found on IMDb under Lee Go.
Lee is survived by his children: Linda and Alan; children's spouses, Tami and Sandy; siblings, Meta and Theo; grandchildren, Caitlin, Aaron, Amelia and Devin.
Memorial services were held on August 12, 2022, at St. Catherine of Siena Church followed by internment at Oakwood Memorial Cemetery.
