In Loving Memory of Marcus Lawayne Montgomery Marcus Lawayne Montgomery was 55 years old when he passed away peacefully on February 6, 2025, at Saint Rose Sienna Hospital surrounded by family and close friends. Marcus was born on September 25, 1969, in Kittery, Maine to Chester and Gloria Montgomery. Beyond his love for family, Marcus was known for his passion for music – it was the rhythm that carried him through life’s highs and lows. He was also a die-hard sports fan, always cheering for the most recent winning team, embracing his well-known bandwagon spirit with pride. His energy was contagious, his presence unforgettable. Preceded in death by his father Chester Montgomery, Marcus is survived by his wife of 5 years Alynn Pacheco Montgomery; his mother Gloria Montgomery; his sister Tasha James; daughters Alexandria Montgomery Augustin (Marc), Megan Montgomery Kearn (Tatiana), Mia Derrera, Kaleeyah Pacheco, and Jazlynn Pacheco; sons Malik Price and Zayden Pacheco Montgomery; grandchildren Maya Montgomery and Amiyah Montgomery; and many cousins and dear friends. His laughter, love, and legacy will live on in the music he cherished, the teams he rooted for, and the family who will carry him in their hearts forever. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 01, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at The Covenant Las Vegas.
