Evered Allen Billings, Sr., 79, from McMinnville, Oregon, formerly from Sacramento, California, passed away on January 24, 2025. Evered was born on February 20, 1945, and raised between Oregon and California. Evered met and married Frances in 1978, while living in Sacramento where they resided. He served in the US Army, and after his service he attended Sacramento City College. He entered the engineering field eventually retiring from Sacramento County after over 20+ years of service. They moved to Longmont last summer to be near their daughter, Patricia Rangel. He was preceded in death by his son, Evered Billings, Jr. and sister Rosemary Billings. He leaves behind his wife and daughter; his 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, 2 brothers; Fred Billings Jr., Tom BillingsSr., 3 sisters: Gloria Miller, Peggy Ryther-Mahoney, and Veronica Ellison, and many nieces and nephews. Evered loved fishing and enjoyed going to casinos with his wife. He was a great storyteller about his military travels and his fishing expeditions. He loved watching military and western movies with his grandsons. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
