Robert Lester Adkins II, was called home to his just reward on March 09, 2023. Rob. Rob is preceded in death by his father Robert Lester Adkins Sr. Rob was born in Corpus Christi, Texas December 20,1968. While on this earth he touched, inspired, educated and saved so many of those that were blessed to knowRob found the love of his life in love Marie Adkins who were together for 33 years and married for 29.Rob and Marie settled in San Antonio, Texas, where they made a loving home and raised their two sons Billy and Trey.Rob is survived by wife Marie Adkins of San Antonio, TX, son Billy and daughter in law, Pricilla Racer, granddaughter Libby and Grandson Liam from Chicago, IL, son TreyAdkins and fiancé Reagan Cherry from San Antonio, TX, mother Maria Adkins of Schertz, TX, sisters Lydia Pippin of Converse, TX, and Tisha Saliani of Austin, TX.

Rob worked in as a Recruiter for 21 years as well as within his church with audio visual oversight.Rob was God-loving and raised his family in faith. Rob's dedication to his Christianity led him to sharing his gift of music. He supported all audio and visual work in his church helping spread the word of God. His greatest role was as a devoted family man, who loved his wife, his children, his grandchildren and his extended family and friends. Rob loved the arts. He expressed himself playing guitar and writing music. His other hobbies included board games, horror movies, stand-up comedy, and of course enjoying a nice glass of scotch. He will always be remembered for his smile intelligence, charm, wit, selfless generosity and loving heart. Rob's life will be celebrated during a memorial service held on Friday, March 17th at 1pm at The Country Church 1005 FM 78 W Marion, TX 78124 (830) 914-4749.A live Facebook Feed will be available and information posted on this site.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association or the Autism Partnership Foundation in Rob's name.
