June Wingate Gay, age 101, of Greenville, SC and formally of Lexington, SC, passed away on March 24. Mrs. Gay was the widow of Hubert C. Gay. Mrs. Gay was predeceased by One brother, Milton A. Wingate, four sisters, Doris W. Derrick, Grace W. Garrick, Helen W. Yonce, Vondell W. Battle, and her Stepmother, Zellie Cooper who raised her. Left to cherish fond memories is her son Terrell "Terry" (Marilyn) of Easley, SC, Granddaughter, Jennifer (Robert) Mustar, and Great Granddaughter, Avery Mustar of Powdersville, SC. Visitation, Friday, March 28 at 10:30am, followed by an 11am Graveside service at Celestial Memorial Gardens, West Columbia. Memorials may be made in honor of June W. Gay to Trinity Baptist Church, 2003 Charleston Hwy. Cayce, SC 29033, and to Connie Maxwell Children Home, POB 1178 Greenwood, SC 29648-1178.
