Frank Edwin Binkley passed away peacefully at home on March 15, 2025. Cindy Eeds and Levi Baker were at his side, holding his hand. This world has lost a really good one! He was loving and generous in addition to being a gentleman, a scholar and a Tennessee Squire. He was a huge Tennessee Volunteers Fan. He wore his Jack Daniel's
and Tennessee Vols shirts proudly.
He was born September 18, 1942 in Kingsport, Tennessee to Ellis Covington Binkley and Cleo Marie Eakin. He was active in marching band and the school newspaper in high school. He was also a drummer in his college marching band. Frank served in the Army Reserves and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. After Marrying Wilma (Jane) Stone and moving to Arizona, Frank became a Buyer for Dillard's Department Stores. Eventually he started his own business selling soft lines to department stores and smaller businesses. Along with Jane, he volunteered at the Mesa Senior Center as part of the Meals on Wheels Program. He continued volunteering for many years after her passing in 2007.
Frank and Cindy started dating in 2009. Cindy's grandchild, Levi was born soon after. By the time Levi was 2, they were all living together. At almost the age of 70, Frank took on the role of father to Levi. They had a very special bond. Levi always referred to Frank as “My Frank”. Frank will be missed and remembered by family and friends.
