Linda Ann Boisseau passed away peacefully on April 14, 2025, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Born on November 11, 1958, in Steubenville, Ohio, Linda was a cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, and nurse whose kindness and dedication touched the lives of many.

Linda was the beloved wife of James (Jay) Boisseau, and a devoted mother to her two sons, Luc and Samuel Boisseau. Her immediate family from Ohio included her loving father, Thurston (Pete) Ryan; her mother, Shirley Ryan; her grandmother, Dorothy Ryan; and her sisters, Roxanne Ferebee and Melissa Glover. Linda’s family was her pride and joy—she nurtured deep, loving relationships and will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

Linda dedicated her life to nursing, having received her nursing certificate from Ohio Valley Hospital School of Nursing and later becoming a registered nurse through Tidewater Community College. Her career spanned several notable positions in healthcare, with a focus on providing comfort and care to terminally ill patients. Linda served as a charge nurse at Hospice of Metro Denver and worked as a field nurse and clinical specialist at Brookside Home Health Care. Her extensive experience also included roles at Beverly Enterprises and Virginia Beach General Hospital. Throughout her career, Linda was known for her exemplary clinical assessment skills, particularly in pain management and symptom control, and for her dedication to educating patients and their families about the dying process. Her compassion and dedication made her a remarkable caregiver, shaping the lives of those she served.

In addition to her exemplary professional achievements, Linda was a gentle and caring soul. She was direct but empathetic, patient, and a wonderful listener. Her warm spirit shone through in every aspect of her life. She had a deep love for animals, particularly her Jack Russell Terriers—Lucky, Lizzie, and Lacey—and a profound appreciation for nature, often found camping, gardening, and relishing the beauty of wild birds. A lover of reading and sports, Linda delighted in sharing memorable moments with her family while watching movies and rooting for her favorite teams.

Linda’s legacy is one of kindness and selflessness, a reflection of her character that will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know her. In her honor, the family requests that any donations be made to the American Cancer Society, reflecting her desire to help others even in her passing.

As we bid farewell to Linda, we celebrate a life beautifully lived, filled with love, compassion, and dedication to her family and profession. She will be dearly missed but will always live on in the memories of her loved ones and the countless lives she enriched.
