VENETA - Judith Lynn (Nored) Braun, 73, passed away on May 21, 2025, in Veneta, Oregon. Judith was born in Corvallis, Oregon on December 15, 1951, to William and Betty Nored.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Gerald Braun; her parents; and her brothers Robert Nored and William Nored. 

She is survived by her sons David Braun and Bear Braun, daughter, Angie Jones and her husband Greg; her siblings Thomas Nored, James Nored, and Julie Fetter; seven grandchildren Zachary, Courtney, Joseph, Fate, Brooklyn, Brittney, and Justin; and seven great-grandchildren.

Judith graduated from Winston Churchill High School. She married Gerald Braun on December 25,1970. She worked as a receptionist at Eugene Builders Exchange and Smeed Sound Service before finishing her career as a special needs school bus driver in the Fern Ridge School District, a role that reflected her caring nature and dedication to others.

Judith was strong in her faith and deeply devoted to her family. She lovingly cared for her husband during his terminal illness, exemplifying her strength and compassion. She enjoyed spending time with her family, baking, visiting the beach, and trying her luck at the casino.
