Doris Marie Madison, aged 82, gently passed away on June 1, 2025, at her home in Denver, Colorado. She was born on June 13, 1942, to her parents, William Edward Miller and Doris Lucile "Anderson" Miller in Berthoud, Colorado.

She was a pillar of love, warmth and strength to her family and community. Doris’s life was marked by her deep love for her family, her knack for creating beautiful things, and the joy she found in the simplicity of life. She was known fondly as "Mom to Many", a testament to the countless children she cared for and cherished over the years. She was a beacon of love and nurturing, and she left a mark on everyone she encountered. Doris was a woman of many talents and interests. She had a particular fondness for sewing and crafting, creating objects of beauty and utility that reflected her attention to detail and innate creativity. She was an avid reader. Her love for the outdoors was evident in her passion for camping and fishing. Doris also loved to travel, always eager to explore new places and experience different cultures. But above all, she cherished the moments spent with her family and friends, deeply valuing the bonds she shared with them.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clifford Raymond Madison Sr., her parents, and eight siblings. Her legacy continues to live on through her children Pamela Madison, Steven Madison, and Lucy McManus (spouse Dan), and her two stepchildren, Clifford Raymond Madison Jr. (spouse Kathleen) and Renee Madison as well her 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Each of them bears the imprint of her love, her wisdom, and her strength.

In Doris' life, she held many roles - a loving wife, a nurturing mother, a doting grandmother, and a caring friend. Yet, in each role, she was guided by a heart filled with kindness and love. Doris' life was a testament to the impact one person can have on the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Doris' name to the American Heart Association. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to everyone who had been a part of Doris' life. Your love, friendship, and support have been a source of comfort and strength.

While we mourn her passing, we also celebrate her life, remembering the love she gave, the lives she touched, and the joy she brought into our world. Doris' life was a tapestry of love, woven with threads of kindness, resilience, and joy. As we remember her, let us honor her legacy by living our lives with the same compassion and love she showed us.
