Obituary for John L. Sullivan Jr. 

The family of John L. Sullivan Jr., of Palm Bay, Florida is saddened to announce his passing on June 15, 2025, at the age of 84 years. He was born July 14, 1940, in Schenectady, NY to John L. Sullivan Sr. and Mary (McLear) Sullivan. 

John is survived by his beloved wife, Phyllis L. Sullivan, whom he cherished every day. 

His son Douglas ~ Robin Sullivan, grandchildren: Danielle ~ Eric Romano, great granddaughters*Peyton & Blake; Dougie ~ Brittany Sullivan, great granddaughter *Lynleigh. 

His daughter Denise (Sullivan-Johnson) ~ Chris Johnson, grandchildren: Victoria ~ Matthew Thomas & Alexandra ~ Brandon Mitchell. 

His daughter Jennifer ~ Ronald Stone, grandchildren: Samantha Stone ~ Cody Piccirillo, great grandchildren *Landon, *Delanie, & *Holden. Amanda Stone, great grandson *Kellen. 

Ronnie Stone ~ Sarah Lawson, great grandchildren, *Hazel & *Weston. 

John L. was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran and was a member of and served at the American Legion most of his life. He was a Master Plumber as his occupation, running his own business in Northville, NY. He also fully supported his wife Phyllis in the successful operation of the Alhambra Restaurant for 25 years, in Northville, NY. Moving to Florida, in 1995, he became a Maintenance Supervisor @ the Holmes Regional Hospital and then Oakwood Villa Apartment Complex. 

John was dedicated to his family and loved them with all his heart. He was so proud to be a dad, a grandfather, and a great grandfather. He had a passion for all his pets, loved to tell jokes, share a laugh, pick out and write a special card, always said the prayer at family gatherings, he never met a stranger in his life. 

Funeral services and Interment will be at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims, Florida, on Friday, August 1, 2025 @ 11:30am. If attending arrive by 11:15am, line up in Lane C. Thank you.
