Annette passed away on June 23, 2025. She was born in Oroville, CA, to Lex and Genevieve Daoust.

She attended Marysville, CA, schools, including Marysville High School, Yuba College, and Chico State University.

Annette worked at Bradleys, the Marysville Police Department, Daoust Chevrolet, and the Marysville Chamber of Commerce during that period.

She met Bill Menchini while working at Daoust Chevrolet. They were married in October 1971. Bill's job with General Motors required them to move many times.

During one period, she moved to five cities in two states, in seven years, and she managed to give birth to their daughter, Gina, during all that "chaos."

Annette worked in cable TV, taught aerobics, and was a teacher's aide in several cities. She was a proud P.E.O. Sister, and felt this another family.

Annette loved animals, clothes, Lake Tahoe, Frank Sinatra, clothes, Chevrolets, particularly Corvettes, clothes, and cherished time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Menchini; daughter, Gina Artist; sister, Lexi Miller; brother, Edward Daoust; favorite grandson, Easton Artist; step grand daughters, Emily and Natalie Artist; plus many nieces and nephews.

We want to thank the terrific staff at Summer Field and Suncrest Hospice. Per Annette's wishes, there will be no service.
