Patricia "Patti" Pennington

It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Patricia "Patti" Pennington, who departed this life on July 26, 2025. A beloved mother, sister, and friend, Patti lived a life filled with kindness, joy, and unwavering devotion to those she loved.

Born to Ronald and Mary Braskamp, and beloved sister of Sheila Richardson, Patti’s life was one of service and support. As a dedicated Special Education Teacher, she touched the lives of countless children, advocating fiercely for their needs and celebrating their successes with pride. Her students were not just her profession; they were her passion.

Patti was the proud mother of Justin Pennington and Abby Lawrence, and she cherished her role as a grandmother to Bennet and Nicholas Lawrence. Her family was her biggest treasure, and she poured her love into every moment spent with them.

An avid reader and a devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers, Patti always knew how to find joy in the little things, whether it was a good book, a new pair of shoes, or a sunny day at the beach. Her vibrant spirit will be profoundly missed but forever remembered by those whose lives she touched. Patti leaves behind a legacy of compassion and love that will endure through her family and friends.

As we celebrate her life, we reflect on her guiding words, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid” (John 14:27). In this difficult time, we invite those who knew and loved Patti to share in her memory, supporting one another as she would have wished.
