Leonarda (Abeyta) Valdez, beloved wife, mother, grandmother passed away on August 8, 2025 in Henderson, NV. She was born in La Puente, NM on August 18, 1941 to Maria Fidelia & Daniel Abeyta. Leo married Eugene Valdez in Fort Collins, CO. They had 3 children, Natalie, Walter and Zachary. Leo was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Eugene and son, Walter. She is survived by her daughter, Natalie (Keith) Gamberg; son, Zachary (Jill) Valdez; and grandchildren Bailey, Mason, Rachel and Amanda.
Private memorial services will be held at a future date.
