Brian Keith St. Cyr

Brian Keith St. Cyr, born on June 1, 1963, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away peacefully at his home in Albuquerque on July 17, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 62 years old.   Brian’s life was deeply rooted in his home town where he built a life filled with family, passion, and enduring interests. He was the beloved husband of Maribeth and a devoted father to Jeremy, Valerie, Alexis, Taylor, Jaden, and Logan. He also embraced his role as stepfather to Calle, father-in-law to his children's significant others and "Pa" to his 9 grandchildren. Brian’s family was central to his life, and he cherished the time spent with them.   He is also remembered by his brother and sister-in-law, Walt and Vicky St. Cyr. Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Voorhees and Virginia St. Cyr, and his uncle Howard Wilson.   Brian had a wide array of interests that brought him joy throughout his life. A lifelong fan of comic books and action figures, he found delight in collecting and organizing each new treasure. His love for fantasy and science fiction extended to films and shows like Lord of the Rings and Star Trek. These passions were more than hobbies—they were part of how Brian connected with others and expressed his creativity.   He loved to cook and enjoy good food and good spirits, with great company. Brian found joy in the bustle of farm life with gardens, horses, chickens, ducks and sheep. Time spent at the family cabin in Bluewater held a special place in his heart—a retreat where he could enjoy nature, quiet reflection and family time.   Brian faced his illness with strength and dignity, surrounded by those who loved him most. His passing leaves a profound void in the lives of many.   May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire strength and love in their hearts.
