Joel Glen Atkins passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, August 23rd, 2025. He was born November 27th, 1943 in Uvalde, Texas to C.E. and Clara Atkins. In addition to his parents, Joel was preceded by his brother Mickey.
Joel is survived by his loving wife, Lynda Atkins; sons, Donald (Jeri), Jerry (Sharon), Gregory (Angie); 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 cats; 3 brothers; and 1 sister.
Joel served in the United States Army for 22 years before retiring. Joel dedicated himself to his career and family. He will be truly missed by all.
