July 16th, 1939 - August 19th, 2025
Marilyn Ann Wilde "Auntie M", 86, of Auburn, Washington, peacefully passed away on August 19, 2025.
Marilyn was born on July 16th, 1939 in Dearborn, Michigan to Geraldine and Kenneth Seng Sr.
Marilyn completed her college degree in education and pursued a career as an elementary education teacher in the Garden City, Michigan School District. She was passionate about her days in the classroom and relationships she built over the years.
In 1970 she married Hugh Wilde. Together they made Livonia, Michigan their home. She enjoyed reading, quilting, cross stitch and cheering for her beloved Detroit Tigers, Lions, and Michigan State Spartans.
After Hugh's passing Marilyn moved to Auburn, Washington to be close to family. Marilyn thrived in her new community. She enjoyed time with family, holidays and a large circle of new friends. She was an active member of Messiah Lutheran church, bible study, PEO and book club.
Marilyn is survived by her sister-in-law (Joanne), her 3 nieces (Carol, Kathy and Kim), and great niece and nephews (Blake, Mackenzie and Zachary). Marilyn's sense of humor, commitment to family and friendships, and contagious laugh will be forever missed.
Services will be held at Auburn Messiah Lutheran Church on Friday, October 3rd at 2 PM. In Lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Alzheimer's Disease Research or Messiah Lutheran Church of Auburn.
