Mementos

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Carlos Espinoza Prado, who departed this world on August 20, 2025, at the age of 29, due to a workplace accident.

Carlos was born on July 3, 1996, in León, Guanajuato, Mexico, the son of María Prado and Alejandro Espinoza. He was a man with a big heart—always courteous, loving, and joyful. His charming way of connecting with others and his playful personality brightened every family gathering.

He greatly enjoyed spending time with his family, playing video games, enthusiastically supporting the Club América soccer team, collecting sneakers, and working on his car and truck. For many years, he also worked as a truck driver, a profession he carried out with effort and pride.

In the same accident, his father Alejandro and his younger brother Oscar Espinoza also lost their lives.

He is survived by his mother, María Prado; his stepfather, Juan Partida; his sister, Joseline Espinoza (Miguel); his brother, Pablo Partida; and his nephew, Xavier Méndez Espinoza. He is also lovingly remembered by his uncles, aunts, numerous cousins, and relatives both in the United States and Mexico.

Carlos is reunited in eternity with his brothers Pedro Partida and Cristian Partida, who passed away before him.

Those who had the privilege of knowing him will always remember his kindness, his love for life, and the joy he shared. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
