William "Bill" E. Kinney, Jr.
August 26th, 1954 - August 29th, 2025
William “Bill” E. Kinney Jr., 71 of North Syracuse, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025. He graduated from Cicero High School where he was on the wrestling team, football team and a lifetime avid fisherman. He retired from the Village of North Syracuse with 30 years of service working in the Department of Public Works (DPW). Bill took pride in operating heavy equipment.
He is predeceased by his parents, William Sr. and Mary (Trumble) Kinney; brother, Donald Kinney; and sister, Katherine "Katie" Schultz Kinney.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Priscilla Smith Kinney; his children, Dannielle Kinney, Matthew (Heather) Katherine Kinney. and Connor Kinney; a sister, Lydia (Frank) Muzzillo; grandchildren, Yojuan, Adrain, Ethan, Isabella, Megan, Ava Luz and Lillian; and several nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to family friend, Mary Oliver. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025, 10AM at
St. Rose of Lima Church, 409 S. Main St., North Syracuse, NY 13212.In lieu of flowers contributions in Bill's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
