Eustaquia Ramos Tayamen

In Loving Memory
Eustaquia “Eus” Jacinto Ramos Tayamen, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2025, in Salinas, California, at the age of 73. She was born on January 25, 1952, in La Paz, Laoag City, Philippines, and carried her love for family and her generous spirit with her throughout her life.
Eus was the heart of her home, always making sure that everyone felt cared for and never left hungry. Her warm invitation to “come eat” will be remembered by all who knew her as a symbol of her love. She found joy in shopping, sharing meals, and being surrounded by her family. For many years, she worked at Yoder Brothers Nursery, where her dedication and hard work touched the lives of many in her community.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Eddy A. Tayamen Sr., and her loving children, Eddy R. Tayamen Jr. (wife Jennifer) and Ehlmer Tayamen (Girlfriend Tina).
She was a proud grandmother to Eddy Isaiah Tayamen III, Daveena Tayamen, Keonna Tayamen, Jevyn Tayamen, Aiedyn’s-Jeremiah Tayamen, Andrew Cabutage, Jeffrey Cabutage, Justin Enosara, Azariah Enosara, Austin Enosara, Jaiden Hicke, Joseph Garcia, and Izayah Garcia.
Her joy grew even greater with the arrival of her great-grandchildren: Lorayne Talingo, Jaxon Remoroza-Tayamen, Jevyn Jr. Tayamen, and Kaleia Tayamen, Plus 20 more.
Eus was preceded in death by her parents Valeriano Sr. and Aurora Ramos and her siblings Valeriano Ramos Jr., Mercedes Ramos Patoc, Teodoro Ramos, and Domingo Ramos, and is lovingly remembered by her surviving siblings Victoriano Ramos (wife Luvilily) and Isabel Garcia (husband Rolly), along with countless nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Her kindness, generosity, and warm spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
Funeral services will be held at Healey Mortuary, 405 N Sanborn Rd, Salinas, CA 93905.
• Viewing: Monday, September 8, from 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Viewing: Tuesday, September 9, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
• Services: Tuesday, September 9, at 1:00 p.m.,
with a Celebration of Life to follow.

Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
