Katherine “Kathy” M. Williamson, 78, passed away on September 6th, 2025, at her home in Clearwater, FL with family and friends beside her. She passed peacefully in her sleep following a two-year battle with cancer. She was born in California on August 10, 1947. She was raised in Willington, CT, graduating from Windham High School. She had lived in Connecticut for most of her life before moving to Clearwater, Florida, over 30 years ago. Kathy is predeceased by her mother Erika K. Williamson – Kalagher and her brother Bobby “Leo” Williamson. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Scott Barry and Cristina Granda, her two brothers, Eric Williamson and Gary Williamson, and their spouses (Jan and Carol), and her sister-in-law, Nancy Chasas. She was fiercely independent and a fighter who had survived cancer twice before. She was able to live her life the way she wanted right up to the end, continuing to work and living on her own. She will be remembered by her family and close friends for being so loving and caring of others. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 27th at 11:00am at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home at 2201 Dr. M L King St. North, St. Petersburg, FL.
