Robert Elwayne Osborn
October 26th, 1967 - September 13th, 2025
Robert Elwayne Osborn was born on October 26,1967 in Sioux City, IA to David and Mary Anne (Plucker) Osborn, and grew up with 3 siblings whom he loved dearly. He spent most of his life living in Colorado. He graduated from Smoky Hill High School in 1986, where he excelled in basketball.
On January 21, 2000, he married the love of his life, Heather, and together they built a beautiful life centered around their two children, Riley Caldwell and Max Osborn. Rob’s devotion to his family was evident in everything he did. He was a proud husband and a deeply loving father.
Rob lived a life full of laughter, love, and unwavering kindness. Rob was known for his quick wit, goofy sense of humor, and the ability to make anyone smile. He had a natural gift for connecting with people, a trait that served him well in both life and business. As the owner of Applewood Service Center, Rob built a reputation for honesty, reliability, and genuine care for his customers. His warmth and integrity left a lasting impression on everyone who walked through his doors.
Rob was always ready for a good time, especially if it involved Corona, Skiing, Golfing, Fishing, or the Broncos. His joyful and fun-loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of laughter, love, and compassion will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Rob is survived by his beloved wife Heather (Ashcraft) Osborn; his children Riley Caldwell and Maxim Osborn; his parents David and Mary Anne Osborn, his sisters: Laura (Dan) Genovese, Mindi (Mark) Plummer, and Susie (Mike) Finger, and brother-in-law Shaun Ashcraft. Rob also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who adored their Uncle Rob, and many aunts and uncles and cousins. He cherished his relationship with all of his family and never missed out on a chance to get together with them.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Elwayne Plucker and Norma (Waters) Plucker, paternal grandparents, Floyd Osborn and Delores June (Baity) Whitehill, his mother-in-law Penny Sargent and father-in-law Larry Ashcraft.
