Lauren John Felte, 83, of Severance, Co., passed away on September 21, 2025. Lauren was born in Severance, Co. to Henry and Ruth Felte. He attended Windsor/Severance Schools. After graduating high school, he joined the Army. After the Army he hauled sugar beets with his brother Ken. And also started farming. He married Debby Baker on April 21, 1973. They had two children. Lauren retired from farming in 1986. He then went to work for Aerial Sprayers until around 2010. He then went to work for the town of Greeley for about 7 years. He enjoyed bowling and polka dancing. He also liked to call bingo for Lion's Club of Windsor. Lauren is survived by his children, Michael Felte(wife Stephanie Marie Felte) of Eaton, Co., Stephanie Kay Felte(partner Mathew Jones) of Windsor, Co.; 5 Grandchildren, Heather Thompson(husband Dylan) of Greeley, Co., Allen-Dean Felte of Evans, Co., Shania Felte(boyfriend Joseph Sayler) of Cheyenne, Wy., Presten Von Dane(significant other Audrey) of Aurora, Co., Jaylinn Stapleton of Windsor, Co.; 8 Great-Granchildren, Abigale Gallegos, Hunter Thompson, Mason Thompson, Michael-Angelito Medina, Kinsey Lee, Olivia Von Dane and Enzo Von Dane. Lauren is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Carolyn Adams, his wife Debby and great-grandson Noah Von Dane. 

 

 Services will be on October 7, at 11 am at Adamson Life Celebration Home.
