It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Steven Sun, beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather at the age of 88 in Salinas, California.  He was born in Hong Kong on April 10 of 1937 and moved to San Francisco, California in 1972.  He married Mary in June of 1978 and spent the majority of his career working onboard cargo ships as a chief cook.  The family moved to Greenfield in Monterey County in 1984 before moving to Salinas in 2002.  He was always happy humming a tune or singing, which will be missed by his friends and family. He is survived by his brothers, sisters, wife Mary, daughter Elma, son Alan, and grandchildren Kailani, Ke’ana, Kawehi, and Archie.
