Juanita (Nita) Joyce Jacobson nee “Bunting”, Age-95 passed away at Fawcett Hospital in Port Charlotte on Saturday October 4th, 2025. Nita was born on January 3rd, 1930, in Wicomico, VA and a native of Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Achilles High School in 1947. Nita was a Human Resources and Plant Manager for Fastron Manufacturing, a hardware manufacturer. Nita was a member of the Moose Lodge and attended New Life of Christ Church. According to Nita’s family she loved to shop and eat.
Nita is survived by her loving son Richard Jacobson, a grandson; Shane Jacobson, one great-grandson, Crosby Jacobson, one brother; Raymond Bunting, one nephew Stuart Bunting and one niece Tanya Bunting Burcham. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene R. Jacobson and a son Ronald M. Jacobson.
Services and interment will be held at a later date.
