Betty Ann Weeks
May 12th, 1935 - October 5th, 2025
Betty Ann (Roy) Weeks, 90, of Fort Atkinson, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2025. She was born on May 12, 1935, in Sulfur, Oklahoma to the late Marvin and Agnes (Alexander) Roy. She was raised in Oklahoma City where she met Edward Lee Weeks. The two later married and made their home in McAlester, Oklahoma. A few years later, they moved to Savanna, Oklahoma where they raised their four children, David, Frank, Carmon, and Steve. Betty enjoyed square dancing, playing bingo, shopping for new clothes, and most of all eating at Marilyn’s Cafe and Charlie’s Chicken. Her faith was an incredibly important part of her life. She attended Free Will Baptist Church in McAlester for many years. She will be fondly remembered for having the most precious personality and funniest sense of humor. If she zinged you with a quick-witted response- it meant she liked you! Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Agnes Roy; her brother, Billy (Kay); her grandson, Gage Hudson; and her daughter-in-law, Carrie Weeks. She is survived by her children, David Weeks; Frank (Jana) Weeks, Carmon nee Weeks (Eric) Hudson, and Steve (Teri) Weeks; her grandchildren: Jared Weeks, Stephanie Fassino, Austin Weeks, Deanna Waldin, James Labor, Christie Sennett, Brittany Carson, Teona Leetzow, Lasa Wenner, and Josh Rueth; and many great grandkids, as well as great-great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
