Christopher David Furlong, a 55-year-old resident of Tampa, Florida, passed away on October 8, 2025, after enduring numerous prolonged health challenges.

Born in November 1969 in Kettering, Ohio, he grew up in Sarasota, Florida, and later lived near Austin, Texas, before moving to Tampa, Florida, for medical care. He was the son of Kathleen Furlong and the late Jerry C.R. Furlong.

Christopher graduated from New Directions High School in Sarasota, Florida, and attended Technical College. He worked as a talented lead machinist in the tech and aerospace industry, supporting companies such as Hewlett Packard and SpaceX.

He was passionate about ham radio, holding the call sign KF5NNK, and was active in the Williamson County Amateur Radio Club. His interests also included computer engineering, CNC, CAD, gaming, and auto mechanics.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Furlong. Survivors include his mother, Kathleen Furlong; his brother, Jerrod Furlong (April); his niece Emma Furlong; and his nephew, Jacob Furlong.
