With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mercedes Lucia Gallagher, who left us peacefully on October 7, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with heart complications.
Mercedes was a woman of grace, resilience, and boundless love. She devoted her life to her family and will be remembered for her warmth, humor, and unwavering kindness.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Patrick John Gallagher, and her daughter, Marie Antoinette Gallagher.
Mercedes is survived by her two sons, Kevin Gallagher and Richard Whidden, and her four grandchildren — Joy Deanna Williford, Angelina Marie Whidden, Danielle Barbara Lundy, and Shawn Richard Stark — all of whom will forever carry her love and spirit in their hearts.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at Florida Mortuary Funeral and Cremation Service on Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 5-8pm. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and honor her beautiful legacy.
She will be deeply missed and eternally loved.
