Jacob Roger Lipshin, 34, of Challis, Idaho, passed away on October 1, 2025 after over a year long battle in the hospital. He was born in Tracy, California, and grew up in Pocatello, Idaho, where he built lifelong friendships and a love for the outdoors that would follow him throughout his life.

Jacob was a devoted husband to his wife Brooke Jean Lipshin age 25. Brooke was the love of Jacob's life and they were inseparable. Jacob was a proud father to his children Everley Holly Lipshin age 3 and Samuel Mason Lipshin age 1. They were the light of his life and he cherished every moment he spent with them. He was also proud of his work at the fish farm, and spent a lot of his free time on special projects.

He is also survived by his mother Jennifer, his sisters Joanne, Terresa, Marrie, and Regina, his brothers Mark, Stephen, Daniel, Nathan, and his in-laws Holly and Jeff, who loved him as their own. He was preceded in death by his father, Nathan Samuel Lipshin.

Jacob loved life’s simple joys—fishing, golfing, hunting, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers. He had an easy smile, a kind heart, and a way of making everyone around him feel at ease. He had a talent for tricking people and he could keep a straight face the entire time.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of Jacob’s life will be held on October 25th at 2PM at the

Challis Community Event Center

411 Clinic Rd

Challis, Idaho 83226

Family and friends are invited to gather to honor his memory and the lasting impact he left on all our hearts.
