She was the oldest of two children and graduated with a B.A. in Education from Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska. It was at Wayne State College that Janice met her husband-to-be, Roland (Ron). She is survived by her four daughters, nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Her ashes will be interred at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Janice was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be remembered for her great sense of humor and interest in life.    A memorial service for Janice will be held at the Aspen Memorial Chapel of Aspen Mortuary (1350 Simms Street, Lakewood, Colorado, 80401) on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at noon.
