**Obituary for Erica Lynn Porter** It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Erica Lynn Porter, who left this world on October 12, 2025, at the age of 49.

Born on April 2, 1976, in Spring Valley, IL, Erica was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of all she encountered. Erica is survived by her devoted husband, Ernest Porter; her cherished children, Hannah Cervantes (Moses Vukaj) and Gage Cervantes; and stepdaughters Tiffani Porter (CJ Ray), Taylor Porter, and Tanner Porter. She was also a beloved Gigi to her grandchildren, Phillip, Carter, Iris, and Ava. Erica was preceded in death by her father, Bob Anderson, and is survived by her loving mother, Linda Anderson, and her brother, Rob Anderson.

A Celebration of Erica’s Life will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 6 PM to 9 PM at South Gulf Cove HOA, located at 14859 Ingraham Blvd, Port Charlotte, FL 33981.

All who knew her are warmly invited to attend and share in the fond memories of a truly remarkable woman. Erica was known for her kindness, generosity, and loyalty. She lived life to the fullest, enjoying activities such as pickleball, shopping trips, and memorable outings to the beach with her beloved fur babies, Penelope and Piper. Her energetic personality brought joy to family, many friends, and left a lasting impact on her community. 

In lieu of flowers, Erica’s family kindly requests that donations be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation in her name, supporting veterans and their families. Donations may be made online HERE.
