Brian Anthony Trujillo
November 10, 1972 – July 27, 2025
Brian Trujillo, Age 52 of Parker, CO passed away unexpectedly on July 27, 2025. Brian was born at Memorial Hospital on November 10, 1972, to Robert and Ruth Trujillo in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He grew up in Colorado Springs and graduated from Thomas B. Doherty High School. Brian was still in contact with many childhood and high school friends where he was known for playing football and being the life of the party. He was also affectionately known by his nickname “Crawdaddy or “Crawd”. This nickname came from our family’s love of the mountains and our many camping trips where he loved catching Crawdad’s at the lakes. Brian Graduated from Doherty in 1991. Brian went on to be a tradesman and helped build many offices and steel buildings throughout Colorado, Arizona, and Texas. Brian was a devoted Son, Brother, and friend. He was well known for his love of his lord and savior Jesus Christ. It was no secret how much he loved the lord and was so proud to talk about it and share stories of Jesus Christ and how he was such a big part of his life and recovery. He loved being in nature, whether it was camping under the stars, hiking with friends or on the open road riding his Motorcycle. If you knew Brian, you also knew of his passion for all animals, his beloved Buddy Jr. had his heart, this white fluffy puppy was his animal soul mate, and after Buddy Jr’s passing his love for anything with four legs was very evident. He adopted two kittens who became his world, and he was the best Cat dad. He would always stop and talk to any pet owner and pet any dog or cat in his path.
Brian had many close friends, too many to count, he had such a big heart and was welcoming to all. He was an encouraging and supportive uncle to his nieces, Andricia, Isabela and Yvette, as well as his nephews, Daniel and Brandon Duran. He was full of the lord’s love and shared that with anyone that he talked to.
Brian loved his family and friends and would do anything that he could to help in any situation, he cared for his father, Earnest (Robert) Trujillo until he passed away in January 2024. He was the best son and loved being with his mother & father, He followed them when they moved out of state so that he could always be close to them. He was also the best brother to Kimberly and Tonya, He was always looking out for us, taking care of us and was always helping with our car issues; He also loved being the best uncle to our kids and was always there for their birthdays and all holiday gatherings. He was always there to offer a helping hand, whether it was to get a car back up and running or helping hang garage racks. He thrived on helping others when he was able to and would give anyone the shirt off of his back if it was needed. His love will be felt all around us for the rest of our lives; it is a love that is never ending. Brian was preceded in death by his father Earnest Robert Trujillo. He is survived by his mother, Ruth Trujillo of Berthoud, CO, His brother Eric Trujillo of Prescott Valley, AZ, His sisters Kimberly Trujillo-Underwood (Ryan) of Centennial, Colorado, Tonya Duran of Gilbert, AZ. His nieces Andricia Rodriguez, Isabela Bavender, Yvette, and nephews Daniel and Brandon Duran of Gilbert, AZ. He is also leaving behind his loving Girlfriend Megan Jenson, who was a pilar of strength for Brian and was always there for him.In lieu of flowers, please donate to a recovery program or alcoholics anonymous in your area in Brian’s name.
