Eva Miriam Brown, 100 years young, of Zephyrhills, Florida passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at the end of a life well lived.  She was born September 23, 1925 in Ocala, Florida and was the daughter of the late Thomas Clyburn and Ruby (Scarborough) Clyburn of Summerfield, Florida. Her family came to Florida in the 1800s and she was proud to be a Floridian. Summers and vacations were spent in Summerfield with her grandparents, aunts and cousins. She attended school in Tampa, Florida and was a graduate of Hillsborough High School. She met and married the love of her life, Robert Brown, when she was seventeen, and they shared a life together for nearly 66 years.

She will forever be remembered for her faith and devotion to her family, especially her beloved children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her warmth and love for others could light up a room. She had a beautiful voice, loved to sing and sang professionally as a child.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Brown, Sr., daughter, Susan Peryea, son, Thomas Brown Sr., sister, Meta (Clyburn) Stanley and brother, T. K. Clyburn. She is survived by her children, Robert Brown Jr. and his wife, Cheryl of Zephyrhills, Chrissy York and her husband, Michael of Tampa, Sarah Kidd of Litchfield, New Hampshire, Marianne Cromarty of Zephyrhills; grandchildren and great grandchildren: Melanie Rhea and son, Connor; Mark Peryea; Heidi and Michael Lucke and daughters, Haley and Sophie; Suzanne and Christopher DePolis and children, Michael, Christopher and Annabelle; Michael and Jaclyn York and daughters, Eva, Nora and Ellie; Stephen and Andrea York and son, Luke; Thomas and Michelle Brown and daughter, Isla; Jonathan and Jerri Brown and children, Christopher, Payton and Timothy; Erica and Joseph Hurst and children, Emma, Rhys and Joseph; Michael and Danielle Kidd and children, April, Michael and Hayley; Victoria Kidd; Elizabeth and Michael Freeman and daughter, Connie. 

Services will be held at Crum Cemetery in Summerfield , Florida, on October 27, 2025 at 1:00 PM.  Memorial donations may be made to a hospice organization of your choice.
