It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marlene Denise Silva, who passed away on October 7, 2025, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, after a courageous battle with breast cancer.

Marlene was born on June 11, 1967, in Denver, Colorado. She was a devoted homemaker who found joy in spending time with her family and friends. Marlene was known for her sense of humor, caring nature, loving heart, and outgoing spirit. She brought warmth and laughter to everyone around her. She was married to her beloved husband, David Martinez, for 22 wonderful years, and together they built a life full of love and memories.

Marlene is survived by her children, Denise Reyes and Joseph Martinez; grandchildren, Aiyanna Reyes, Juanito Reyes Jr., David Reyes, and Lilliana Reyes; her mother, Maxine Silva; siblings, Phillip Ortiz, Nick Ortiz, Veronica Cruz, Ladena Silva, and Darlene Silva; and her son-in-law, Juanito Reyes.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Martinez, and her father, Max Silva.
