Bobby "Bob" Joseph Robson
April 10th, 1961 - October 14th, 2025
Bobby “Bob” Joseph Robson, 64, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025, in his home surrounded by his family. He was born on April 10, 1961, in Pueblo, Colorado, and was a proud lifelong Colorado resident.
Bob attended Doherty High School, graduating in 1980. He married Debbie, the love of his life and soulmate, on September 1, 1990. Together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Bob was a devoted husband, a proud father to Gabrielle, and a deeply loving “Papa” to his three grandchildren — Kinsley, Ryleigh, and Madden — who were the light of his life.
Bob was known for his selflessness and his heart of gold. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need and did so with kindness and humility. He had a gift for fixing anything — and if he couldn’t fix it, he’d create something even better. His hardworking spirit and creativity were unmatched.
A true outdoorsman and adventurer, Bob loved mountain biking, running, and dirt biking. He enjoyed taking his Jeep four-wheeling and camping, especially on trips to Moab, Utah. In his younger years, he also loved windsurfing and skiing. Among his many passions were restoring and working on vehicles, especially his beloved 1940 Chevy Coupe and 1995 Jeep Cherokee.
Bob lived out his passion through his work as a talented machinist and welder, ultimately becoming a supervisor in the machine and weld shop for Colorado Springs Utilities, where he found great pride and joy in his work. He also served as a wildland firefighter with the Catamount Wildland Fire Team for Colorado Springs Utilities — a testament to his bravery and dedication.
Above all, Bob was a man of faith who loved and followed his Savior, Jesus Christ. He attended Rocky Mountain Calvary for over 20 years and lived his life guided by faith, integrity, and compassion.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Deborah (Debbie) Sue Robson; his daughter Gabrielle Murphy and her husband Jacob Murphy; and his adored grandchildren, Kinsley, Ryleigh, and Madden. He is also survived by his mother, brother, sister, and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends who will miss him deeply. He was preceded in death by his father and aunt.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be held on November 7th at 3:00 PM at Rocky Mountain Calvary in Colorado Springs. To honor his love for cars, the family invites anyone who owns a sports or classic car to bring it to the service, giving Bob one last car show.
Bob will be remembered for his strength, his humor, his generosity, and the immense love he had for his family and friends. His legacy of kindness and faith will live on in all who knew and loved him.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
2 Timothy 4:7
