Stephanie Anne Fitts

Stephanie Ann Fitts (ManiPole) of Syracuse, New York, passed away on October 19, 2025.  Born on June 12, 1946, Stephanie lived a life defined by strength, grace, and unwavering love for her family. She faced life’s greatest challenges with courage — including multiple battles with cancer — and through it all, she remained a beacon of resilience and hope for those who knew her.

Stephanie’s warmth and kindness touched countless lives. As the matriarch and heart of her family, she created a home filled with laughter, joy, and the kind of love that makes memories last a lifetime. Whether through a listening ear, a comforting word, or a joyful smile, she made everyone around her feel valued and loved.

Stephanie was predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth and Peter ManiPole, as well as her brother, Peter ManiPole. Her legacy is one of strength, compassion, and unwavering faith — a legacy that will live on through the generations she inspired.

She is survived by her loving children: Richard, Kelly, and Coley; her grandchildren: Ashley, Jacquelyn, Danielle, Brittani, Zachary, Richard, and Coley Jr.; seven great-grandchildren; and her siblings: Richard, David, Robert, Rebecca, Sharon, Kathy, Lynette, and Dineen — all of whom will forever carry her spirit in their hearts.

Calling hours will be held from 10AM to 12PM on Saturday, November 1st at Ballweg and Lunsford Funeral Home, 4612 S. Salina St. Syracuse, NY 13205.

A funeral service will follow at 12PM at the funeral home.

Burial will take place following the funeral service, in Onondaga Valley Cemetery, Valley Drive, Nedrow, NY.

Stephanie Fitts will be remembered not only for the battles she fought but for the love she gave so freely. Her courage was extraordinary, and her light will never fade.
