December 12th, 1975 - October 13th, 2025
In Loving Memory of
Leonard (BoogeyMan/BosMan) Strickland
December 12, 1975 ~ October 13, 2025
Leonard Strickland was the youngest child of J.P.
Collier Strickland & Violet Mae Strickland.
After laying to rest his sister, Antionette &
brother David, He is survived by his mother,
Violet, his sisters, Carolyn, Ophelia, Mary, Wilma
and Regina along with his children Kya
Lynn & Ja’Ci Polu.
“Nardy” to his siblings, “Lennerd” to his friends
but to his kids, nieces & nephews, it was always
BOOGEYMAN. However someone knew him, there
was an impact there. Loved in life equal to the
love he gave, Leonard consistently took care of
everyone around him without demanding
recognition or anything in return.
We honor his life & his commitment to caring for
the ones he loved & the imprint he left on
everyone that crossed his path.
The Memorial will be Tuesday, October 28th at 1:00 at Bethlehem Baptist Church 4818 Portland Ave E, Tacoma, WA 98404
