Sue Vines, 79, passed away on October 1, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona, after an honorable battle with Alzheimer's Disease and Diabetes.
Sue is survived by her husband of 28 years, Willie Vines; her brothers, Aaron and Arnold Samuel; her children, Kimberly Howell, Pamela Howell, La Kesha Rodgers (Shawn), and Danielle Keys (LaMarcus); her cherished grandchildren Jasmine Keys, Jada Keys, Jordyn Keys, Ozzy Rodgers and Jason Rodgers; and great-grandson, Zyir Keys. She also leaves behind a blended family including children Shalonda and James Mitchell, Nellie Vines, Bryan (dec.) and Tammy Vines, Jennifer Anderson, and Tanisha Vines (dec.), as well as beloved grandchildren, Shalynn Johnson and LaMarion Williams. She is lovingly remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Food Share of Ventura County, honoring Sue’s lifelong legacy of feeding and caring for others.
