Emma Jane Siemens, born on November 23, 1928, in Corn, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on October 19, 2025. Emma was raised in Corn, Oklahoma, and then the family moved to Reedley, CA, where Emma graduated from Immanuel Christian High School in 1945. She then moved out of her family home in 1945 with two cousins into an apartment and started working at a Mennonite Rest Home. In 1949, the family moved to Orland, where she met the love of her life, Jim Siemens, and got married in 1950. They remained living in Orland and made their home in the Capay Rancho District, where they built a chicken farm. Emma and Jim had three children, Keith, Rod, and Cathy, and the entire family worked on the chicken farm. In 1963, the family moved to Chico, CA. In the late 1960s, Emma went to work for Nulaid Eggs in Chico, CA, and worked there for a number of years. In 1985, Jim Siemens passed away. She is survived by her three children, Keith Siemens (Mary), of Chico, Rod Siemens (Bev), of Arizona, Cathy Davi (Moose) of Chico, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren, Emma’s brother, Delbert Reimer (Corrina, deceased) of Chico, CA, and James Reimer (Darlene) of Bakersfield, CA, and a sister, Verlene Wilkerson (Dale, deceased) of Stayton, Oregon. Her brother, Wilbur Reimer, passed away in 2013. Emma will be remembered as a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, friend, and above all, a Faithful Servant of the Lord. Emma touched the lives of many with her warmth, patience, and generous spirit. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Services will be held at Brusie Funeral Home on October 30, 2025, at 10:00 am. Gravesite Services will follow after Brusie Service at Orland Masonic Cemetery.
