Dolores G. Vess, a cherished longtime resident of Colorado Springs, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2025, at the age of 91. Born in Chicago, Illinois, on November 11, 1933, Dolores proudly served in the United States Air Force and later took to the skies as a flight attendant for Eastern Airlines. Her life was a testament to adventure, warmth, and joy.

Dolores embraced life with a vibrant spirit. She found happiness skiing the snowy slopes of Colorado, exploring new destinations with her travel group, and bonding with horses and animals she adored. Her sweet tooth was legendary, especially her love of chocolate malts, and she delighted in spirited outings to Cripple Creek with dear friends, where laughter and storytelling flowed freely.

She leaves behind a loving legacy through her four children, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, each carrying forward her curiosity and zest for life.

Dolores will be remembered for her adventurous heart, radiant smile, and the deep love she shared with those around her. Her memory will continue to inspire all who knew her to live fully, love deeply, and cherish each moment.
